Wine Tasting, Sake, Art Show & Mingling (June 12th)

What a fun party it was last night!
Every where I looked it was tall, dark and handsome and drop-dead gorgeous!
The entire crowd seemed so nice, intelligent and engaging. Maria and I were talking after the event about how the energy in the room seemed so unbelievably positive. I think it was her warm and gracious personality when greeting everyone and handing them their glass and drink ticket. Then as I was pouring the tasting wines, she was handing out the tasting notes with a secret smile and letting everyone know that only the girls get the tasting notes, so if the guys want to know more about what they have in their glass they have to ask the girls. It made things so much more fun!
The wines were really wonderful. People were raving. (Which always makes hosting so much easier!) Over the past few years I have learned to pick top rated wines (Now if I could get them at a discount, that would really be great!)

What a nice event!
The sixty or so people who attended were really top notch!
I saw some very lively conversations going on between people who shared a few common interests.
I introduced Ned to Laura because they both graduated from Yale University. I introduced Nicole to Joe because, like me, Nicole loves motorcycles. (Joe just sold his bike and is looking for a new one.) Connie and Marvin were introduced because they are both accountants enjoying their first social event since April 15th.
I saw faces that I have not seen in years. And they have not aged a second! (*&^%$^@%$!!!) Steve, Tripp, Maria
